OMIGAWD!  IT’S A FACE!

Also, it’s the end of scene one!  Wee!

Tom and I are still nailing down some of the visuals for Scene Two, so I’m afraid there won’t be a comic next week.  HOWEVER!  We will be featuring a Behind the Scenes look of “Overtures” in our blogs.  Tom will be showing the process through which the script for Scene One was developed.  I will present a visual history of “Overtures,” going all the way back to 2005!  I’ll be showing an image or two that even Tom has never seen before!  Gasp!

So, tune in next week, when we’ll frolic through the wondrous world of graphic novel creation!

Few random thoughts on this page before I go:

• Drummond, I’m real happy for you, and I’ma let you finish, but Eddie Sutton had the best scowl of all time!  OF ALL TIME!!!
• “ExtENDs his heartiest welcome to you,” get it?!  HUR HUR HUR!
• I find it amusing that we get a Fan Service Panty Shot of Flynn’s rump before we even see his face.  Have you no shame, Flynn?  At least I had the decency to partially censor his rump with a speech bubble.
• Sveringen’s eyes are very pretty in panel four, don’t you think?
• Lazy backgrounds?  I’m sure I have no idea what you’re talking about!
• Gold is very hard to illustrate convincingly.  Perhaps, with some study, I will become decent at it.
