Transfiguration

The ability of the Nemnebliari Changelings to transform themselves into the likenesses of other living beings.  The heretic Turen, originally a Merifianan, is believed to have discovered this power through some nefarious means—through black magic, according to some stories, or even through a demonic pact, according to others. Transfiguration was declared a heresy by the Merifianan faith, and has characterized the Nemnebliari as an untrustworthy race ever since. Nemnebliari can activate this ability through intense concentration, and can also be transfigured back into their true forms by being anointed with water.
