Welcome to AltairUniverse.com! Here’s a rundown of all that stuff you see on the menu bar:
- Comic: this is where we post the latest pages of the graphic novel Overtures, with Tom’s and Amy’s notes at the bottom. Feel free to take a look!
- Periodicals: this is where we post excerpts from The Endrasa Herald, a newspaper detailing what’s going on within the Altair Universe.
- Compendium: this is where to go to learn everything you (n)ever wanted to know about the Altair Universe. It consists of three sections:
- Codex, where you can find a plethora of wikipedia-style entries about various persons, places, and things in the Altair Universe–all organized by spiffy and convenient tags.
- Map Room, where you can find out that, indeed, no fantasy setting is complete without a pretty map or two. (Tolkien would be proud.)
- Who’s Who,where you can read about the characters that appear in Overtures.
- News: this is where Tom and Amy post announcements about the AltairUniverse.com site itself. Look here for updates, Amy’s ramblings, or Tom’s proclamations.
- About: this is where you can read lovely little blurbs about who Tom and Amy are, as well as what this whole Altair and Overtures business is all about.

This website was designed for and best viewed in the newest versions of Firefox and other W3C Standards Compliant browsers (this includes Safari, for all the Mac users out there). It also functions well enough in Internet Explorer versions 7 & 8, but don’t hold your breath for 6 or earlier. If you believe the website is not displaying or functioning properly for you, please send an email to amerz42 (at) gmail.com, stating your browser of choice (including the version number), and the problem. If it is a display issue, screenshots are greatly appreciated, but a description of the issue should suffice. We’d like to be able to properly serve as many users as possible, so willingness to help us find bugs is appreciated!
